Halo

A little about the game . . .

Master Chief John-117

The Halo franchise all started back on November 15, 2001. This FPS was a huge hit at the time. Halo is about these super soldiers, Spartans, that were created by the United Nations Space Command, or the UNSC, to protect human race as an alliance of alien races, the Covenant, begin a war on mankind. After the Convenant invaded Reach, the UNSC's last major stronghold besides Earth, Master Chief is one of the few Spartans remaining. Master Chief is the character that the player plays.

A little information about the video game character, Master Chief. Master Chief's name is John-117. He is the key to this war and seems to be the only one capable of stopping anyone that gets in his way. It also seems that Master Chief was granted with the gift of luck. His gift of luck has been a huge factor in the war, even though Master Chief claims he makes his own luck, it seems to be more than that. John is not completely alone on his journey. He has Cortana. Cortana is an AI that helps John through this war. She is no normal AI though. Cortana is the most intelligent, conscious AI out there. One last thing about Master Chief is that the player has never been able to see what John's face looks like.

Everything that was previously said was all the campaign. Not only does Halo have a campaign, but it also has multiplayer too! Here in the recent years, Halo decided to mash up all the games in the main Halo story line and put all of them into one launcher. It is probably the smartest decision they could have made. Even though that is the smartest decision they incorporated, there is one mode that they added to top that off. I'm talking about Forge. Forge is a sandbox mode. Players can build maps, create gamemodes, and even do basic coding to make a gamemode more specific for their needs. This has really just created a whole new era for Halo. There are endless possiblities and endless memories to be made. And this is why Halo is one of my favorite games. If you are interested in learning more about the game, click here!
